Rita Ora took to the stage on Saturday at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, taking an edgy approach in a sheer black crisscross pattern catsuit with a black bodysuit underneath, complemented by a flowing cape.
Performing during the closing ceremony of the event, the pop star coordinated the ensemble with high-heeled lace boots.
Sheer outfits have been dominating the runways and celebrity events since 2022. In February, the front rows of New York Fashion Week were filled with celebrities, from Ashley Graham to Lori Harvey, all in sheer garments. Ciara wore a sheer Dundas dress to the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars Party that made headlines.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in the audience for Ora’s performance. The Invictus Games were founded by Prince Harry in 2014 as an international multisport event for wounded, injured and sick military service people and veterans.
Ahead of the Invictus Games 2023, Netflix released a documentary titled “Heart of Invictus” on Aug. 30. The documentary follows six people competing in the 2022 Invictus Games, and was part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s five-year $100 million contract to produce content for Netflix.
One of the big highlights of the Invictus Games were Meghan Markle’s fashion choices. The Duchess of Sussex crashed J.Crew’s website after she wore the brand’s Giselle blazer on Wednesday. The V-neck sweater with contrast trim, retails for $158.
The blazer has since sold out in most sizes, but customers trying to get their hands on it now have the option to preorder. The blazer is also available in other colors, including black, brown, beige and orange.
